Mentors Who Care
Faithful adults and college leaders offer tutoring, coaching, and prayerful encouragement every week.
Raising Leaders of Faith and Excellence
ACT is the youth organization of THL Church, dedicated to helping children and teens grow both academically and spiritually. Through caring mentorship, study support, community service, and faith-based activities, ACT inspires young people to discover their purpose, strengthen their character, and shine in school and in life — all while building volunteer hours toward the U.S. Congressional Volunteer Service Award.
Empower your mind. Enrich your spirit. Engage your world. Join ACT today and become part of a generation that learns, serves, and leads through Trust, Hope, and Love.
We invest in every student’s whole story — mind, heart, and calling. ACT mentors walk alongside youth in tutoring sessions, discipleship huddles, and service projects so they experience a faith that is both personal and missional. We celebrate cultures, nurture bilingual leadership, and equip students to thrive in classrooms, churches, and communities.
Faithful adults and college leaders offer tutoring, coaching, and prayerful encouragement every week.
Students gather for study labs, worship nights, and small-group conversations that build trust and hope.
Workshops on STEAM, college prep, and vocational discernment help youth pursue God’s call with excellence.
ACT weaves discipleship into daily rhythms so students experience transformation that lasts far beyond a single event.
Guided study hours, homework support, and peer collaboration build confidence in math, science, literacy, and languages.
Bible study, worship leading, and prayer partnerships ground hearts in Christ and root identity in the Gospel.
Regular service-learning projects invite youth to lead with compassion and serve neighbors with the love of Jesus.
Retreats, creative arts, and mentoring conversations nurture emotional health and friendships that last.
ACT students log their volunteer hours through our coordinated projects to qualify for the U.S. Congressional Volunteer Service Award — an official honor that recognizes extraordinary service to communities across the United States. We help families track progress, submit documentation, and celebrate each milestone.
Every hour invested in others becomes a testimony of Jesus’ love in action.
Families, students, and volunteers are welcome to explore ACT. Tell us how you’d like to get involved and we’ll reach out with the next gathering, service opportunity, or mentorship match.
